Mixing & mastering

Send us the track.

We'll listen properly and tell you whether it needs a mix, a master, or neither.

Fairly often it is neither. If the arrangement is the problem, no amount of mastering fixes it, and we would rather say so than take the work.

How it works

  1. Send a private link. A rough bounce is fine to start with.
  2. We listen and reply with what we think it needs, what it costs, and how long it takes.
  3. If it is a fit, you send stems.
  4. You get one version, and revisions within reason.

A reference track helps. One is enough — tell us what you like about it, even if it is only one word.

What we take, and what we don’t

Drum & bass and melodic electronic, mixed on the monitoring the classes are taught on. We quote per track rather than per hour.

We say no to work that does not suit the room, and where we can we will point you at someone it does suit. A mix we are wrong for is worse for you than no mix at all.

The records we put out ourselves are mixed here, on the same monitoring. They are on Spotify — that is the whole portfolio.

A rough bounce is fine. We listen to everything that comes in.
